Secara resmi Gebyar Menara Vokasi Expo & Job Fair Labuan Bajo dibuka hari ini, Selasa 7 Desember 2021 di Kampus Politeknik eLBajo Commodus dengan pemotongan pita di area Expo dan Job Fair oleh Asisten Perekonomian Dan Pembangunan Manggarai Barat Bapak Martinus Ban, ST; Koordinator Bidang Kemitraan dan Pemasaran Mitras DUDI Kemendikbudristek Bapak Agus Susilo Hadi; Plt. Direktur Politeknik eLBajo Commodus Bapak Andy Iwan Iswanto, S.S., M.Pd ; Ibu Theresia P. Asmon Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Mabar; dan juga Kepala dan Perwakilan dari SMK-SMK Vokasi Manggarai Raya. || The Gebyar Menara Vokasi Expo & Job Fair in Labuan Bajo officially opened today, Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic Campus with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Expo and Job Fair area by the Assistant for Economy and Development of West Manggarai, Mr. Martinus Ban, ST; Mr. Agus Susilo Hadi, Coordinator of Partnerships and Marketing for Mitras DUDI at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology; Mr. Andy Iwan Iswanto, S.S., M.Pd, Acting Director of the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic; Ms. Theresia P. Asmon, Head of the West Manggarai Manpower and Transmigration Office; as well as the principals and representatives from vocational high schools (SMK) in the Greater Manggarai region.
Program Gebyar Menara Vokasi 2021 (Sinergi Vokasi untuk Penguatan Ekonomi Daerah) ini diselenggarakan oleh Direktorat Kemitraan Dunia Usaha dan Dunia Industri dan Direktorat Jenderal Pendidikan Vokasi. Kegiatan Gebyar Menara Vokasi ini diadakan secara serempak di 5 menara Vokasi yaitu Politeknik Elbajo Commodus untuk menara vokasi Labuan Bajo, Politeknik Negeri Medan untuk menara vokasi Medan, Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis untuk menara vokasi Pekanbaru, Politeknik Negeri Banjarmasin untuk menara vokasi Banjarmasin, Kemudian Politeknik Negeri Ujung Pandang untuk menara vokasi Kolaka. || The 2021 Gebyar Menara Vokasi Program (Vocational Synergy for Strengthening the Regional Economy) is organized by the Directorate of Business and Industry Partnerships and the Directorate General of Vocational Education. The Gebyar Menara Vokasi event was held simultaneously at five vocational towers: Elbajo Commodus Polytechnic for the Labuan Bajo vocational tower, Medan State Polytechnic for the Medan vocational tower, Bengkalis State Polytechnic for the Pekanbaru vocational tower, Banjarmasin State Polytechnic for the Banjarmasin vocational tower, and Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic for the Kolaka Vocational Tower.
Adapun puncak Gebyar Menara Vokasi kali ini adalah penandatanganan Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) dan Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) serentak bersama pemerintah daerah, dunia usaha dan dunia industri, media massa, serta sekolah dan perguruan tinggi vokasi. Penandatangan MoU & MoA secara serempak ini diselenggarakan antara Politeknik eLBajo Commodus dengan mitra Pentahelix dan juga SMK-SMK Vokasi Manggarai Raya dengan mitra Pentahelix lainnya. || The highlight of this year’s Gebyar Menara Vokasi event was the simultaneous signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with local governments, the business and industrial sectors, the media, as well as vocational high schools and colleges. This simultaneous signing of the MoU and MoA took place between eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic and its Pentahelix partners, as well as between the vocational high schools in the Greater Manggarai region and their respective Pentahelix partners.
Plt. Direktur Politeknik eLBajo Commodus menyampaikan bahwa Gebyar Menara Vokasi ini penting dilaksanakan untuk menyosialisasikan kebijakan pendidikan vokasi, serta memfasilitasi kerja sama antara satuan pendidikan vokasi dengan dunia usaha dan dunia industri. Kepala Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Kabupaten Manggarai Barat Ibu Theresia Primadona Asmon, dalam press conference menyampaikan bahwa ini merupakan job fair pertama yang dilaksanakan di Manggarai Barat dan juga mendapatkan respon positif dari pihak industri, instansi dan juga UMKM setempat. || Acting Director of eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic stated that the “Gebyar Menara Vokasi” event is important to raise awareness of vocational education policies and to facilitate collaboration between vocational education institutions and the business and industrial sectors. The Head of the West Manggarai Regency Department of Labor and Transmigration, Ms. Theresia Primadona Asmon, said during a press conference that this was the first job fair held in West Manggarai and that it had received a positive response from industry, government agencies, and local SMEs.
