SWP 2026: New Students of Politeknik eLBajo Commodus Gain Practical Preparation for Campus Life

Politeknik eLBajo Commodus held the Student Week Program (SWP) 2026 from August 26–28, 2026. The program was designed to provide new students with essential academic, administrative, and student-life orientation before they begin their lectures. The program is expected to enhance students’ readiness for campus life while strengthening their connection with the academic community.

Over the three-day program, new students participated in a series of structured activities. The first day featured a Financial Administration Orientation delivered by the Finance Division and a Student Affairs Orientation by the Academic and Student Affairs Division. The sessions covered the Student Credit Point (SKP) system, Table Manners, Company Visits, Student Activity Units (UKM), scholarships, guest lectures, the PPKS Task Force, and TKDI. On the second day, the Director of Politeknik eLBajo Commodus, Prof. I Nengah D. Astawa, M.Si., delivered a session on academics and introduced students to campus life. The program continued with an E-Campuz Orientation, followed by a session on Student Ethics & Study Program Orientation, presented through a sharing session with the Heads of Study Programs.

On the final day, students participated in the BGB activity, followed by Course Registration (KRS). The program was officially concluded by the Director of Politeknik eLBajo Commodus.

Through SWP, students gained an understanding of campus administrative systems, academic procedures, and opportunities for personal development through Student Activity Units and scholarship programs. They were also introduced to appropriate behavior and ethics within the campus environment, along with basic skills to support their learning process.

The program is expected to prepare new students for the start of lectures on September 4, 2026. SWP also serves as a platform for strengthening the academic culture and fostering a sense of togetherness among students, lecturers, and administrative staff. In the long term, the program is expected to help develop students who are active, accomplished, and possess strong character.

One of the new students shared that SWP helped her better understand campus administrative procedures that had previously seemed complicated.

“Now I know how to fill out my KRS correctly, and I also got to know my lecturers and new friends better. I feel much more prepared for college,” she said enthusiastically.

Her experience reflects the tangible benefits of SWP as an essential first step in preparing new students to navigate and embrace their new life as part of the Politeknik eLBajo Commodus community.
