Labuan Bajo (8 March 2024) – eLBajo Polytechnic, an educational institution that has been a pioneer in providing vocational education in West Manggarai, especially Labuan Bajo, is preparing to celebrate the historic momentum of its 6th anniversary. In advancing its new age on April 4, PLC is holding a series of activities for the 6th Anniversary with the theme “Exploring Local Potential and Real Contributions”. This theme voices the spirit of PLC as a university that is not only committed to building hard skills and soft skills, but also spiritual skills and cultural skills for local human resources.
Today’s Anniversary activity opened with the Bugar Gembira Bersama (Zumba and Aerobic) activity, which not only involved the academic community but also the Regional Government, partners from the Industrial World Business World (DUDI), SMA/SMK partners, and the local community. Partner representatives who attended included the Nakertranskopukm Service, West Manggarai Prosecutor’s Office, Ruteng Primary Tax Service Office, KCP BRI Labuan Bajo, BNI Labuan Bajo, PT. Pos Indonesia, RT 025 Wae Kelambu Village, SMK 1 Labuan Bajo, SMK St. Yosefa, SMK 3 Komodo, SMA ignasius Loyola, SMA 1 Labuan Bajo, Hotel Meruorah, Hotel Jayakarta and Sudamala Resort.
Drs. Yohanes Hani M.Pd as Head of the West Manggarai Regency Youth and Sports Education Service who was present representing the Regent of West Manggarai said that “Age 6 PLC brings youth and creativity. Students must continue to carry this spirit to become a superior generation of West Manggarai”
Meanwhile, in his remarks at PLC Got Talent, PLC Director Prof. I Nengah Dasi Astawa said that “eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic has become a place that inspires and creates the next generation who excel in the fields of tourism, technology and business. Celebrating our six years of success and dedication, PLC hosts a special anniversary event. This event will be a stage for students, alumni, partners and the general public to unite in a spirit of togetherness.”.
The series of events for the 6th Anniversary of the PLC will be held from March 2024 to April 2024, which is the highlight of the event. Events held include Opening Dies Natalis, PLC Got Talent, Future Leader English Debate Competition (FLEDC), PLC Fun Walk and Zumba, Local Cuisine Competition, Excellent Service Competition, E-Sport Mobile Legend, Tiktok Challenge Competition, Blood Donation Action, and Clean Places of Worship Activities.
