Labuan Bajo, April 6, 2026 — eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic has once again demonstrated its commitment to developing international-standard education through a collaboration with Ji’an Vocational and Technical College, China. This collaboration is realized through a Mandarin language teaching program as well as an introduction to Chinese culture that will last for approximately five months. eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic Strengthens International Cooperation and Welcomes Guest Lecturers from China.
As part of the implementation of this collaboration, Politeknik eLBajo Commodus officially held a Welcoming Ceremony to welcome guest lecturer Mr. Zhang Licong from Jinggangshan Applied Technology School. His presence is expected to significantly contribute to improving student competency, particularly in Mandarin language proficiency and cross-cultural understanding.
The Welcoming Ceremony which took place at the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic Campus was attended by the Chairperson of the Bangkit Anak NegeriKu Foundation, Mrs. Noviana Halim, Director of the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Dasi Astawa, M.Si, Deputy Director, Dr. Ni Wayan Noviana Safitri, S.E., M.Si, as well as structural officials within the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic.
In her remarks, the Chairperson of the Bangkit Anak Negeriku Foundation, Mrs. Noviana Halim, said that this collaboration is a strategic step in expanding international networks while opening up opportunities for students to gain a more global and competitive learning experience.
Meanwhile, the Director of the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic, Prof. Dr. I Nengah Dasi Astawa, M.Si, emphasized that the presence of guest lecturers from China is an important part of efforts to improve the quality of education, especially in strengthening foreign language competencies and understanding of international culture among students.
On the same occasion, Mr. Zhang Licong also expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and enthusiasm for sharing knowledge and culture with the students of the eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic. He hoped the program would run smoothly and provide tangible benefits for both parties.
The program is scheduled to run from March to July for a total duration of 135 days, with academic and teaching activities being the primary focus, covering more than two-thirds of the program. All activities are fully supported by Ji’an Vocational and Technical College, demonstrating its commitment to strengthening international educational cooperation.
Through this collaboration, Politeknik eLBajo Commodus hopes to continue opening up other global collaboration opportunities and creating an innovative, inclusive, and internationally competitive learning environment.
