Politeknik eLBajo Commodus once again held the Graduation Ceremony for the Academic Year 2025/2026, marking the success of students in completing their entire educational journey. A total of 134 prospective graduates officially participated in the ceremony after fulfilling all academic and administrative requirements in accordance with vocational higher education standards.
The event, filled with enthusiasm, was attended by representatives from the West Manggarai Regency Government, the Chairperson of Yayasan Bangkit Anak Negeri, and the academic community. The graduation ceremony is an important stage in the academic process before students proceed to the commencement. Through this event, students are officially declared graduates and entitled to receive their respective academic degrees.
Prof. Dr. I Nengah Dasi Astawa, M.Si., Director of Politeknik eLBajo Commodus, expressed his appreciation to all participants for their hard work and dedication throughout their studies. He emphasized that this achievement is the result of a learning process that not only enhances academic ability but also shapes character, ethics, and professionalism.
“We are committed to producing graduates who not only hold diplomas but are also equipped with competencies through various professional certifications relevant to their fields. Thus, graduates of Politeknik eLBajo Commodus are truly ready to contribute to the workforce or become entrepreneurs capable of creating job opportunities,” he stated.


The Director further highlighted that the quality of graduates continues to improve, as evidenced by 47.2% of the 134 graduates already employed. This is supported by curriculum alignment with industry needs, the development of laboratory facilities, and expanded collaborations with various partners, particularly in tourism, hospitality, and the creative economy sectors.
On behalf of the West Manggarai Regency Government, Drs. Salvador Pinto, Assistant for Government and Public Welfare, conveyed his appreciation to Politeknik eLBajo Commodus for its commitment to producing graduates ready to enter the workforce and meet industry demands. He reminded graduates that the ceremony is not the end of their journey but the beginning of their professional careers.
“The success you achieve today is not the end, but the start of your journey in the workforce. The knowledge gained during your studies is a foundation for the future. As you enter the professional world, uphold integrity, discipline, and work ethic to become trusted professionals,” he said.
Mr. Salvador Pinto also emphasized the rapid growth of the tourism sector in Labuan Bajo, which creates significant opportunities for skilled and competent workers.
“Labuan Bajo continues to grow as a world-class tourism destination. This development requires high-quality, job-ready human resources. Politeknik eLBajo Commodus plays a vital role in preparing graduates who can meet industry needs, especially in tourism, hospitality, and the creative economy. We hope graduates will seize these opportunities while contributing to the development of West Manggarai Regency,” he added.
As the first vocational higher education institution in West Manggarai Regency, Politeknik eLBajo Commodus continues to strengthen its role in developing competitive human resources.
