West Manggarai, April 10, 2025 — As part of the celebrations marking the 7th anniversary of eLBajo Commodus Polytechnic (PLC), students from the English for Business and Professional Communication program collaborated with the International Marketing Management program to successfully organize the inter-program Future Leaders English Debate Competition.

The competition, held on Thursday, April 10, 2025, aims to hone students’ critical thinking, communication, and leadership skills—essential skills for navigating the global professional world.

The debate was intense yet conducted in a spirit of sportsmanship, showcasing creative ideas and sharp arguments from the participants. After going through competitive preliminary rounds and the finals, here are the winners:

First Place: International Marketing Management Program
2nd Place: Hotel Management Program, Team A
Third Place: Hotel Management Program, Team B

The organizers hope this competition will mark the beginning of more similar initiatives to prepare students to become future leaders.

“Keep up the spirit of becoming future leaders!” exclaimed the organizers at the end of the event, closing the competition on a very optimistic note.
